What is Sun Season?
A world map that answers one question: does the weather fit the holiday you want, in the month you can go? Pick beach, tropics, warm, cool or snow, pick a month, and the map colours every place on Earth by how well it fits — gold where it does, and otherwise the reason: too cold, too hot, too dry, too rainy, or the monsoon itself. Tap any place for its twelve-month rain and temperature chart and the months to go.
It runs on 30-year climate normals (WorldClim 2.1, 1970–2000) rather than forecasts, and judges rain by each place's own seasonal pattern, so it can tell a monsoon from a place that is simply wet all year. Read the method or fetch the open data.
